Doug Tilney; President and Founder

Doug has been in the swimming pool industry for 28 years and is licensed by the State of Florida to build both Commercial and Residential pools. He has extensive knowledge in all aspects of pool construction and has built pools from your basic backyard variety to commercial pools on the rooftops of high-rise condominiums. Doug takes a “no corners cut” approach to running the company and thought of as a top industry professional.

Joe Stephens; Construction Manager

Joe has 35 years of pool construction experience and is licensed by the State of Florida as a Swimming Pool Structure Specialty Contractor. Joe specializes in the structural phases of the pool building process. Joe is meticulous in his work and always keeps the customers best interests in the forefront of his approach. Joe has produced high-quality structures throughout his career and built swimming pools from backyards to high-rise rooftops. Joe is regarded as a top industry professional and well known in the industry for his high-quality work. 

John Dadswell; Business Development Manager and Lead Design Expert

John has over 15 years of industry experience ranging from equipment repair to distribution. John has extensive knowledge in pool hydraulics, filtration and automation. He is well respected in the industry and his creativity leads to designing pools that are not only cutting edge and beautiful but functional also.

Drew Davis; Design Consultant 

Drew Davis spent 7 years in the pool service/repair side of the industry when he decided it was time for a change and learn something new.  After joining the Tilney Pools team, Drew has been through extensive training to develop his new skill set.  As a new pool and remodeling designer, Drew has been creating beautiful outdoor spaces that our customers have come to expect. 

Kaley Tilney; Permitting Tech 

Kaley spent 25 years serving her community at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. Upon her retirement, she wanted to get involved with the family business. She now brings her selfless service attitude to our customers.  We are excited to have her aboard and look forward to see what the next chapter of her life has in store for her! 

 Dallas Stephens; Construction Superintendant 

Dallas has over 35 years of pool construction experience.  Having worked on high-end projects most of his career, Dallas knows what it takes to give the customers what they have come to expect from us. We are grateful our younger team members get to continue gaining knowledge under Dallas’ guidance. Dallas is known as a top industry professional and is a great asset to the Tilney Pools team.

Cody Haney; Construction Technician 

Cody has been in the swimming pool industry for 8 years and has proven to be decades beyond his years in talent. In an era that it seems like work ethic among young people is slipping away, Cody is an exception. Cody has proven to be an incredibly hard worker that is on the “same page” when it comes to the “no corners cut” approach of the company. Cody has an eye for details and has become a very talented young professional. There is no doubt that Cody has a bright future ahead of him and will be known in the industry as a top professional.

Colton Tilney; Construction Technician 

Colton is a young professional with his sights set on the big picture. He is an all-around utility asset and his work ethic has been proven to be right at the top.  Colton is experienced in “front end” pool construction and is continuing to learn and develop his skillset.  We are excited to see what the future holds for Colton and under the guidance of industry top tradesman, like Joe Stephens, we are confident he will grow as a man and professional.

Todd Thomson; Construction Technician  

Todd is the newest member of the Tilney Pools construction crew.  Todd’s hard work has earned him a permanent spot and we are excited to see what the future holds for him. You will always find Todd smiling and having a great attitude. 

Mallory Tilney; Office Administrator / Designer

Mallory  is a dedicated office administrator who is happy to help you get the information you need quickly. Mallory is organized, friendly and professional and has mastered our 3D design software. Mallory completes all initial design work for John and Drew and has proven to a valuable asset to the team!
